The study of IST at Schols recognises the indispensable role of technology in today’s world.  The course assists students in Years 7-10 to develop knowledge about and harness an understanding of how IST may be applied to real world problems and issues. 

Through experiential and collaborative tasks, students engage in processes of analysing, designing, producing, testing, documenting, implementing and evaluating information and software technology-based solutions. Creative, critical and meta-cognitive thinking skills are developed through students’ practical involvement in projects.
