Principal's Welcome

PRINCIPAL'S WELCOME

Welcome to St Scholastica’s College, a school of Good Samaritan Education, a day and boarding school of excellence - affectionately known as ‘Schols’ - for girls in Years 7-12. Schols has been educating young women for more than 140 years, instilling values which have their foundations in both the Catholic faith and the inspiration of the parable of the Good Samaritan in the Gospel (Luke 10: 25-37).

I am proud and privileged to be the Principal of St Scholastica’s College and I invite you to find out more about our wonderful school.  St Scholastica’s, with its committed staff, is a place where girls and young women can flourish.  Our College is infused with the importance of honouring individual strengths and talents while nurturing students to work collaboratively, looking outwards towards the world.

Our motto, PAX (Peace), is a powerful statement for our times.  Schols’ girls are called to be strong, considered leaders in their own lives, in the lives of others and to be people of influence and compassion in their local and global communities. As an independent, forward-thinking girls' school we are committed to preparing students for a lifetime of learning, leadership and purpose in our local and global community.  A Schols’ education is one that prepares young women to make a difference in the changing world in which we live.

I look forward to meeting you at one of our College tours.
