The annual re-union of past students is held each year on the fourth Sunday of May.
In 2014 the reunion will be held at the College on Sunday 25th May at 12 noon.
This year on Sunday 26 May, as is the custom on the fourth Sunday of May, our ex-students gathered. This was a special year: the 90th since they were first formed as an Ex-Students' Union. They had a magnificent birthday cake to celebrate their 90 years. 120 women of all ages joined together in the Chapel for mass at 12.00 midday followed by lunch in the Trixie Forest Centre. There was a convivial vibe and a number of different year groups had got together to mark their special day including the alumni from 1953 and 1963.
Significantly two of our ex-students who could not be at this function were featured in The Good Oil: Hannah White and Liz Byron. Both girls finished school in 2007. Spurred on by their thirst for social justice they spent the summer holidays of 2009 on Christmas Island supporting, teaching and listening to the asylum seekers, many of whom had arrived in the previous tumultuous few months. Read their story in the Good Oil. Be proud of these two young women who are committed to changing the world for the better. Their spirit was there among the Schols ex-students gathered together on 26 May; they too are devoted to the ethos of the Good Samaritan in society.
