The Boarding community provides quality residential care for up to 100 boarders and offers places for girls in Years 7 – 12. Students come from a wide variety of cultures, backgrounds and locations including country, city and overseas, forming a truly global community. The Boarding College works in partnership with parents in the care and education of their daughters, aiming to create a welcoming and safe environment for students, families and staff.
Students are encouraged to develop respect for self and mutual care and responsibility for others, in keeping with the College motto PAX (PEACE). Community living assists students to become aware of and respond to the wider social and cultural realities of our world. There is no doubt that the Boarding College adds a very special dimension of community to the experience of being a student at St Scholastica’s.
St Scholastica’s is proud to be a member of the Australian Boarding Schools Association, which serves to support and develop best practice in residential communities across Australia.
